About Me

Lindsay Commo is a Queens native and graduate of Queens College with a BA in Studio Art.

She has shot several models over the past 6 years using a Canon EOS Rebel T6.

Besides a DSLR, she has experience with film photography and the darkroom using a Nikon N6006.

Portrait photography is the basis of her work, although she enjoys landscape shots whenever possible.

Engulfing herself in the evolving music scenes, capturing musicians in their element has become frequent in her work.

 

"I am keen on the rule of thirds and don't stop shooting until I get the perfect photo. I enjoy capturing the beauty within still moments that evoke emotions from the viewer. My photo sets are mainly outdoors as there is more variety than a simple studio backdrop. I am flexible with photo inspiration given by models feeling as though it is my duty to carry out a unanimous vision between subject and photographer."

Experience with videography, editing short films, and editing programs such as​ Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, iMovie and Premier Pro.
